A day in the prophet’s mosque

I spent 14 hours in the prophet’s mosque—a Full day dedicated to praying, visiting historical places, and meditating.

If you are a first-time visitor or a resident, I advise you to visit Almasjed Alnabawi after the fajr prayer or stay after the fajr prayer. It is almost empty, and The atmosphere is spiritual. You are With Allah. You will feel safe, secure, heard, protected, helped, and lightened. You will not be judged if you cry because we all do that. We all aim to please Allah; thus, we do not gossip about each other. You can pray as much as you can, and nobody around you. I wish words could describe the feeling you will have there.

Prophet's mosque is unlike any other mosque you will ever visit, even haram mosque; haram mosque has awe you feel dread by Kaaba. Is it real? I'm here, and watching people making Umrah feels like a dream. But in the prophet's Masjid, you will feel the peace you seek just by sitting there. A relief that never felt or you will feel. You will be calmer and more relaxed. Your heart has been washed by iced water, and you will forget what you have been through and find what you will ask for. I have no worries; Allah has it all. Just talk and cry. You will be fine after it, I guarantee you.

Pigeons of Al Haram

Madinah is famous for its pigeon; you will notice how they are friendly and don't scare people. Just sit and watch them, and you will be amazed by them. You will see many of them walking with joy and flying with harmony. Subhan Allah, How do they know we will not harm them? How these beautiful birds helped our prophet. Feeding them is a great activity to think and wonder about Allah's miracles. Have you wondered how Allah united us and animals to worship him? Allah, how great you are.

I'm a tourist in my city.

I have always wanted to try a city tour. What is unique about it, they take you on two hours ride to the famous historical places and mosques in Madinah. Some places I know about are Al Baqi Cemetery, The Holy Quran exhibition, The Prophet exhibition, The Sela Mountain, Masjid Al Qiblatayn, Masjid Quba, and The Seventh mosque.

Ohud Battlefield

 First time me seeing the place. People went there and took pics, and some of them prayed. I was touched. I was in an area the prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, had been in one day, and a battle happened here. I thought about how our Muslim brothers and sahabah with the prophet struggle to spread Islam Subhan Allah.

Al gamma mosque

The story of its name is unique and gives goss bumps Subhan Allah. It looks more beautiful at night. I've seen it many times but have just known its story. 

The Trench Battlefield

We passed over the trench quickly because it's under the street, near the Sela mountain. However, we can admire How clever the Prophet's companion was to get this idea and how they worked hard to make it. It was in winter when they were working. I was impressed by that because Madinah's weather is not a joke.

Haram view

I put it on my list that day to drink coffee while looking at Al Harm. I heard a lot about this café's view, so I want to experience it alone to live in the moment without disturbing. Despite the prices, the view is worth it. The idea is incredible. I was watching people working, walking, prying, and birds flying. It was like meditating on Allah's creations, how people worked on the ground and birds in the sky. How did he design all that in seven days only? He created this beauty in life, so what the view will look like in heaven, how he chooses me to be here in that moment to appreciate him and his work of art, Alhamdulillah.

The girl who is crying in the prophet's mosque

I was sitting after finishing the maghrib prayers – I was supper focused and concentrated on my thought, talking to Allah and ignoring anything around me but, with a blink to my right side, I saw a girl with her family; her face was red, and she's trying to hold her sadness and tears by looking to her lift side I knew she wanted to cry she's holding her tears doing her best then a family member came to her and hugged her. Then a couple of women went to her and did the same thing. I wished to comfort her like them, but I thought they were all enough, or because This incident was not the first for me to witness, and I knew how it would end.

What I love about them is that they are all from different backgrounds, races, and cultures and talk to you in their language to commiserate with you. They know you will not be able to understand what they are saying; still, they will show you empathy anyway. In Al harm, we all escape negativity and forget our lousy personal traits. We discover the new person inside us: more human, caring, loving, supportive, offering help, friendly, smiley, and respectful. We are all the same. No difference between us. It is due to the impact of the place.; we are all here for Allah only and to please him, so I choose to spend one day for Allah in the prophet's mosque. That was the best day plan I ever did in my entire life.
