Farm Day Exploring Day Part Two

Today, we want to adventure to explore our farm's outside area. We started with our neighbors. They have two farms; one is for a wheat field next to us; it has grown a lot since the last time I saw it. It looks cinematic on the way to the farm with the wind movements. I felt like I was in an anime scene but was scared to go further. There could be a snake hidden or a Scorpion, which would be worse

I will leave everyone behind and waste no time. Before everyone comes, I must go to the almond (Madras Thorn, but in our language, we call it almond) tree to have as many of them as possible. The tree is behind our ranch; I should go to it from our farm; there are two ways to get there, one from the farmer's nest and the other near the goat's cage. I have to choose the safest one. I will go with the goat's one because it's close to it and the other one is scary for me to go alone. I like to play with animals a little, but now I have no time. I must hurry; I will come after my exploration ends.

I went to the almond tree. Many had fallen to the floor, and some were dried because of the sun. I took what I could but needed more because I wanted to do a DIY with it. So, I looked for the tool we made for it. I couldn't use stone with this type of tree.

This tool is a palm tree stick and should be long enough to reach the top branches. Then, on the small end of the stick, we use a steel clothes hanger. We undo it and then rub it around the stick until we reach the end. Then, we leave the c shape as it is. This will help us catch the almond. It looks like a fishing rod but a DIY version. We usually put it next to the wall if anyone thinks of stealing it. I folded my dress to my knee. I roped it this time because I needed both hands in the mission. The stick is heavy. I couldn't make it upright; It required my full power. All the almonds that were close were either dried or raw, and the red ones were far away. I would do my best to capture them, which took longer than expected. I had to fetch them one by one, and with the sun and heat, I couldn't take it. I must have a solution. I will hit it with the stick, and many will fall. The heaviness of the tool made me fall while trying. I shall wait until everyone comes to help me get them. Meanwhile, I will collect the dried ones to make accessories later. Finally, they came. I waited for minutes. They gave me red ones, my favorite. I will be eating them later. They will be a fantastic snack after swimming, but they always make me thirsty.

Today's challenge is to go as far as we can from our ranch. So, we planned to climb the mountain last week. It's very far from us. We have to walk for miles to get there. We first had to get across this land; it was so spacious and belonged to no one. One day, I wish to own this land to raise different kinds of animals, plant flowers everywhere on my ranch, and have a small house with glass windows to enjoy the farm's view.

While we were walking, I saw our neighbor's house. They live in the mountains and also have a farm. I always wondered how they managed living there with wild animals. What if someone stayed home alone? Would it be scary? I couldn't imagine that, but it's cool to live there and wake up to the sunrise view and the fresh air, with no loud noises outside. I can be close to the farm and play with animals all day or when I want. That's my dream life.

We were two miles away but came across a Hyphaenes tree. They were massive and looked historical. This was the first time I had seen one up close; I didn't like eating the fruit straight up. It is usually stuck in my teeth; I prefer it when grinding with sugar.

I took some to make it at home, so I took two. It's enough because my drees are almost full of almonds, and I do not want to put on extra weight. I still want to climb the mountain and go back to the farm.

We continued walking. Near the mountain was a small farm with goats and two palm trees. I wanted to see it up close, but the farmer looked scary, so I had to keep moving without disturbing myself.

Finally, we came to our destination. This is the first time I've climbed a mountain. I'm scared of heights, and climbing will be challenging with my extra weight. The first two steps were easy, but I was careful because the rocks fell while climbing. I was afraid when I saw holes; maybe a snake or a lizard was hiding, and I would die of panic if so. I decided not to go further high and instead to be at a safe height. I stopped at a level where I could see the area around us well. The view was impeccable. The sun is so big and bright that the clouds look like a drawing. I wish I could live on a farm and watch this view daily. It's time to leave because I must finish my day with a good swimming session.
